migrating netbackup environment

Hello,

I am going to be migrating my netbackup environment to a new server. At the same time I was hoping to upgrade from 6.5 to 7. I've looked around on the forums to see if I could find some info on the topic and although I did find a couple postings with similiar goals I couldn't find any with links to documentation.

Does anyone have advice on how I should proceed with this process?

Also I would be very grateful with direction on how to find the official Symantec document on how to accomplish this goal.

A couple of very recent posts:

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/upgrading-netbackup-650-70

and a couple of TechNotes (referenced in the above posts also I believe)

Using catalog backup and recovery to transfer NetBackup catalogs between UNIX or Linux master servers as part of a hardware refresh
