monitoring process nbu 7.6.1 nagios and CA solutions

help I need monitoring proceess with nagios and CA solutions, I know the proceess importand of master server nbu 7.6.1

I have used a customized backup_exit_notify script on the master to write status client policy schedule in the relevant log for the monitor system. Have worked with CA TNG (It was called back then) and SCOM.

Another approach is to use OpsCenter to send snmp traps to the monitor system.

Besides the backup status and processes, I have monitored the server.log on the masters as we discovered that the service/daemon could running without the database(s) was up.
