Hi ,

Could anyone of you please let us know how to move the tapes from standalone to another volume pool?

Also please let us know when the volumes will be moved to stand alone

TLD means tapes are in the robot. Standalone means tapes are out of the robot. To move tapes from Standalone to TLD, put tapes in the robot and run Inventory.

Tapes move to the 'standalone' volume group (---) when they are either ejected from the robot, or marked as standalone within media properties.

You may want to read up about the difference between Volume Group and Volume Pool.

Volume group is associated with location - in or out of the robot.
Volume group will change when media is moved out of the robot or into the robot.

Volume pool is used for logical groupings for backup purposes.
Volume pool will stay the same - whether tape is in our out of the robot.
Unexpired media (containing valid backups) cannot be moved to another pool.
