Hi folks
what is the impact of command /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/nbrbutil -suspend on Netbackup master server.
1 Netbackup master server is in cluster, NBU services are in cluster group server handling 250 client servers, backups + duplications active
2 Netbackup master server not in cluster, standalone server handling 250 client servers, backups + duplications active
please answer my query out of previous experience or someone might have a test environment, answer plz, along with the reasons.

When you run "nbrbutil -suspend", Resource Broker that is responsible for resource allocation stop processing. This results in suspension of almost all the activities like backup, restore, and duplication until you resume its processing by "nbrbutil -resume".

The effect is the same on clustered and non-cluster master server.
It does not stop any services/daemons, so therefore no resource fault is caused that may cause a failover in a clustered environment.
