Hello
1. Its Veritas NetBackup :)
2. Go to the NetBackup upgrade portal and https://sort.veritas.com/checklist/install to help with the upgrade preparation
3. Once you've upgraded to 8.1.2 you need to install a new server (on 2012 or 2016) with the same version of NetBackup and perform a catalog recovery to move the master from old to new server.

The good news is that W2008 is still supported with NBU 8.x, but we all know that Microsoft's support for this OS will run out sooner rather than later (which will also end NBU support).
