netbackup process (bpbkar) on Tru64 server does not exit

After we upgraded netbackup from 4.5 to 5.1, the netbackup process on our Tru64 media server do not exit after the job exits on the master server. The netbackup process continues to use more and more CPU resources and must be killed.

Alpha ES40 media server, OS is Tru64 5.1

This might be what support might suggest and is like telling your granny to suck eggs, but I assume you are on the latest patch kit for v5.1 Tru64?

# dupatch -track -type kit
