Hi Team,
IHAC on NDMP restore issue, any help would be helpful.
we took NDMP backup to LTO3 tape successfully & able to restore the same data well -> duplicated the tape (NBU gui -> catalog) to LTO6 tapes (with different tape library but attached to same filer)
-> from NBU console, catalog area changed the 2nd copy (LTO6) as primary copy -> now whenever we try to restore the same data from LTO6 we see below error

This is an error from your filer. Found this NetApp KB article that talks about the error and how to fix:
A wrong tape record size is provided
How to determine if this is the cause:
- Log in to the system shell and obtain access to the backup log file located in the
/mroot/etc/log/backup
path.Check if the backup log displays the
Could not initialize media
error.
rst Mon Jun 25 09:54:13 GMT 2012 /vol/vs1_src/ Error (Could not initialize media.)
rst Mon Jun 25 09:54:13 GMT 2012 /vol/vs1_src/ Tape_close (ndmp)
rst Mon Jun 25 09:54:13 GMT 2012 /vol/vs1_src/ Abort (0 files, 0 MB)
Check the DMA logs for following error messages:
RESTORE: Tape record size should be 63, not 256.
RESTORE: Could not initialize media.
RESTORE: RESTORE IS ABORTED
DATA: Restore terminated: EVENT: INTERNAL ERROR (for vs1_src)
Resolution:
Retry the restore job with the correct block size as the blocking factor.
