oracle 11g on HP-UX 11.3 cluster client netbackup

hello

master server : netbackup 7 with windows 2008 r2

client :hp-ux 11.3 cluster with oracle 11g

1-how to perform the installation of the agent on cluster hp-ux ??? do i have to do each node alone ??

2- let assume that the agent is already installed ,i have to Link NetBackup for Oracle with RMAN,and test test if the linking has been done properly ( allocate a Tape channel )

could you please tell after that what should i done , do i have to create policy now from netbackup 7 manager ?? where to use the script ?what to use ?

could you describe for me step by step on what should be done to make the backup run ???

Download the guide and have a look. It covers all your questions, installing in a cluster, linking, policy creation, where to find sample scripts, etc.

For database specifc configuration speak to your DBA as they'll know what to insert into the script (things like oracle user, oracle sid, etc)
