policy Scheduling

Hello, 

I am using netbackup 7.7 and i have multiple policies scheduled to run at different times. some started and some didn't. At first i though this was because i ran some of them manually and that might have messed up the scheduling, but when i try to configure new policies they don't run.

i also tried to check from the command line:

# nbpemreq -predict -date mm/dd/yyyy HH:MM 

but i get no output. please help.

What kind of schedule - calendar or frequency?

What value do you use for date and time with nbpemreq?

Can you show us an example of a policy that did not run when you expected it to?
bppllist <policy-name> -U

Correct syntax is either:

-predict -date <mm/dd/yyyy HH:MM:SS>

or

-predict -date <mm/dd/yyyy>
