bpimage -cleanup will run. what all comands it will run:
 
1.in case of disk?
 
2.in case of tape?

nbdelete -allvolumes -force
 
Am i correct with manual run?

OK, the commands you listed are correct. Before I said it didn't use 'force' but thinking about it it must do, else you would have to confirm you want the auto cleanups to run. So in summary, what you have listed is correct - the auto cleanup runs the same commands as you would do for the manual cleanup. M

These command will show you what commands automatically run and how often on your system:

nbpemreq -subsystems screen
 
nbpemreq -subsystems screen all

bpconfig -U

The manual cleanup looks fine, the aoutomatic is similar, but I don't think it uses the -force

  1.       So when I run manual clenup i need to run manual commands.correct?

      2       PLease let me know what commands are run automatically in case of disk and tape.??

WHY do you need to run manual commands?

If the 12 hour frequency is not enough, why not just reduce the frequency?

Surely YOU are in the best postion to answer your OWN question - simply RUN the commands in your opening post (and previous post) and then YOU can tell US!
