"Error Running Report"

My fellow NBU folks,

It's Monday and I have another new issue to post.  When attempting to run a Images on Tape report I get the following:

Error Running Report

Error from Master Server XX-XXXXX

file read failed

A possible bad image header?

I know you have been posting quite a bit over the last couple of days, but I need to ask you a big favour:

PLEASE always post basic info:

NBU version on affected server(s) and clients(s)
OS on affected server(s) and clients(s).

If this is Admin Console on W2008 server, start the GUI with Right-click, Run as Administrator.

I have personally been 'caught' with being able to configure policies, run backups, monitor, etc, but not being able to run reports until I've closed the GUI and start again with 'Run as Administrator'.

Marianne, will do for future posts.  Admin console is on a WIN2003 R2 Enterprise 64 obx.  I'll also try launching the console as administrator.

Run as Administrator is only needed on W2008 server with UAC enabled by default.

This TN is probably more relevant: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH73003

You will need bpdbm log to find the problematic image number.

The 7.1 EEB Guide also contains the following:

Etrack 2074966 : The bpimagelist and bpimmedia commands would fail with a file read failed error when a corrupt image header was present.
