replicate\duplicate NBU image

Hello experts,

1 have locations M1 and B1. M1 have NBU appliance and a separate master server. site B1 have only 1 NBU appliance, its master is at site M1. AIR license enabled and it works fine. copy1 created at B1 then copy2 at M1.(eg SLP name B1-to-M1-daily) Both images exist on appliance. Now I have a special requirement where I want to copy NDMP backup image from site M1 to site B1. I tried to do it by nbreplicate but failed. Both appliances version 2.6, 5220

What is the Storage Unit where copy 2 of backupid ndmpfiler1_1434988805 was written?

Only backup images on MSDP STU can be replicated to a remote MSDP.

Since the media server at M1 and the media server at B1 are a part of the same NBU domain (M1) you need to use bpduplicate not nbreplicate.

So we need the credentials set. When you wish to duplicate / replicate both directions between storage units you need the credentials configured for both. In an appliance this means retrieving the deduplication password. So Appliance M1 needs the ID and password for B1 and Appliance B1 needs the ID and password for M1. 

To get the password from an appliance log in to an ssh session as admin and in the CLISH type Administration and at the next screen type ShowDedupPassword

Use this password when you set up credentials in the administration console.
