running bpcatres within 6.5.3.1

Hi

I'm testing catalog archiving, the backups for the catalog archiving was successful.

Trying to do a test restore of the catalog archive images

running the following command "bpcatlist -client all -before Aug 25 2009 | bpcatres", but I get;

EXIT STATUS 40: network connection broken
bpcatres: restore partially succeeded and catalog archive flags in restored images will not be reset to 0


How do I resolve this from not happening?

Are you running this command when there are other jobs running?  If so you need to do this when there is no other NBU activity. 

From the Admin Guide I:

Recommendations for using catalog archiving

Perform catalog archiving operations when NetBackup is in an inactive state (no jobs are running).

No, there was no jobs running at the time of when the command was executed.

Removed the catarc policy and create the policy again.

All works.  Thanks for your help
