Upgrading from 8.3.0.2 to 9.1.0.1 ( I have solaris master/media, that is as far as they go :(  )

Seems the new improved webui does not retain users when upgrading.

Anyone have thoughts on backing up/copying the users for the webui, or will they get destroyed with every upgrade or is this just a feature of these versions?

Veritas provided this link: https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100047577
But the path suggested is not valid (/usr/openv/NetBackup/bin/goodies/rbac_user_migration)

I do not seem to have the rbac_user_migration file in either my prod 8.3.0.2 or test 9.1.0.1 goodies directory

NetBackup 9.1.0.1 on Solaris 11, writing to Data Domain 9800 7.7.4.0
duplicating via SLP to LTO5 & LTO8 in SL8500 via ACSLS

As for the saving of user webUI access, I have never configured it before.

as for the tool, I can confirm that it is available in 10.0.0.1 (both windows and Redhat netbackup).

you could possibly try to look for it ,find command for example, in case the installation directory is different.

find / -name "rbac_user*"

lastly the article you have provided has perl script of the tool , have you tried to use that script.
