Above commands will check whether Drives and robot are connected to netbackup or will detect at OS level?

The scan command detect devices connected at the OS level. If the OS can see them Netbackup should be able to use them.

Pls note: The scan command does not check if the OS device drivers are in place. That mean the scan command may be able to see the device, but a device driver may not present at the OS level.
