self-signed certificate for NBAC

Hello, I am looking for a process to change the way NBAC uses certificates on the root broker. What I am looking to do is import a certificate into the root broker instead of using the one that is provided in the base install and setup.

I am currently running NBU 7.5.0.5 on a Windows 2008 R2 server. Our policy required SSL certs to be issued to the appilcation and not self generated with a high level of security.

Any help on this would be great.

Thanks

John C.

NetBackup comes with its own Authentication Service, which acts as a certifying authority. It issues certificates. All the certificates are signed by this issuing authority. The isuing authority has a self signed certificate for itself. User certificates and machine certificates would be signed by the issuing authority.

Currently, NetBackup cannot work with third party certificates.
