i'm adding a new NBU client, the solaris 11, but when the NBU is detecting the OS installed or when i try to select the OS, i only get up to Solaris 10. does this matter or should i patch up for Solaris 11?

so i went ahead and selected "Solaris 10", did a test backup, so far so good. i guess it doesn't have to be exactly "Solaris 11".

Look for "Client Selections for Backup Policies" in OS SCL: http://www.veritas.com/docs/000040842

Dear Riaan,

Where can I download the Netbackup Client for Netbackup 8.0 on Solaris 10 Server?  Also where can I download the Java Administration Console for Windows 7.  I want to install the Administration Console on my Windows 7 Computer so I can manage the Nebackup Server on my Solaris 10 server.

Your reply is highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Vang
