Has tape been added in Media section of the GUI?
Does 'vmoprcmd -d' on media server 'see' correct internal label?
If so, you can start the restore.
(I'm holding thumbs....)

Hi Marianne,
Restore has initiated & right now pending action (user intervention, i guess somebody must put the tape inside the tape drive - eventhough the tape is currently inside the drive. Maybe eject & put back to the drive.
vmoprcmd command looks ok..correct media label ID. Hope its OK, i will continue on Moday to proper put in tape to drives.
Many thanks Marianne, will keep you updated.

Please share 'vmoprcmd -d' command output as well as all text in Activity monitor.

Hi Marianne,
It works !! Many thanks for your utmost support.
So for next restore at remote site, checklist would be as follows;
1. Copy backup images from live site, Master Server
2. Restore backup image into remote site Master Server
3. Add media to Netbackup (I'm using GUI)
4. Add Media Host override entries for Prod media servers to force restores to DR media server - OK this only set ONCE in 'Host properties'
5. Start Restore:
Hope this is it (please do add if I mist out..)

Sorry Imra,
I've missed yesterday's post....
Yes - your steps look good.
The device config was (hopefully) a once-off.
I'm curious to see which post you will mark as Solution!

48 replies (this one will be 49) and still no solution??
Must be new record.
Nagalla's very first reply should have been the solution!
I can no longer read or reply to this thread on my mobile - simply running out of memory because of the length?

So - now you mark your own post that has NOTHING to do with the actual issue as Solution???
The idea with Solutions is that someone who finds this post, can click on the 'See solution' link at the top of the screen and be taken straight to the Solution....
