So, these Solaris Cluster nodes are media servers?
You need to tell us more about your config - have you configured App Cluster in NBU where STU is configured with Virtual name instead of node names?
There is a section in NetBackup in Highly Available Environments Administrator's Guide that explains how to config clustered media server nodes as Application Cluster in NetBackup.
Topic: About virtual storage units in a NetBackup cluster.
Please go through this section and tell us if that is how your media servers are configured.
Else tell us about your config and a bit more about your 'bad issues'.

You will need to enable logs to troubleshoot:
Add VERBOSE entry to /usr/openv/volmgr/vm.conf.
Create /usr/openv/volmgr/debug folder with the following folders under debug:
robots
daemon
ltid
oprd
reqlib
tpcommand
Restart NBU and check above logs as well as /var/adm/messages next time this happens.
Have you determined why this server is crashing so often?
