taking long time

Hi,

Backups getting hung after writing 8-10%(this is happing only for 2 clients) and other clients backups are working fine.

plz,let me know why it is happening so.

Server:2003 server
version:veritas Enterprise Server NBU 5.0
clinets:all windows

Disable temporarely

the backup of the 'Shadow Copy Components'

and check if they still hang

Check the problem report and post what it says.
Check whether tracker.exe is runnig on the client.

Turn up logging on bptm to 5 on your media server and take a look at the logs... This log can give you an idea of what is wrong.

You may consider to check the NetBackup log files

(e.g. bpbkar, online_util) on

the client for any clues.

If the log files do not exist on the client, create them

by using batch file: mklogdir
