tape library encryption question

I am also facing this issue. ALM is enable on my library.

how to check application- managedencryption is enable or not. if not how to enable it.

Please don't attach to old posts/questions - especially ones that have been "solved" before - as it hides whether your question has been solved or not - not only that, it is as yet unproven whether your problem is exactly like the original post.

Questions:

1) Exact make and model of tape library?

2) Exact make and model of tape drives?

3) NetBackup version?

4) What have you tried?

5) What really is the problem?  i.e. what error are you getting?  i.e. what problem are you having?

IBM TS3500 TL

NBu version - 7.7.3

I have configured KMS encryption method to my master server. i have created volume pool ENCR_pool . at the time of duplication to tape it uses ENCR_pool. it mount tape from this pool but then giving error : freezing media.

encryption unavailable for ENCR_pool

It will continue unless all the tapes in pool get frozen.

ALM is enable on library.

My tape drive type is ULT3580-TD5

a) I see you posted re ULT3580-TD5 drives.

b) Can you show us the screen shot which proves that AME (Application Managed Encryption) is enabled by the ALMS (Advanced Library Management System)?
