Hi,

Getting below error and backup got failed :-

Error nbjm(pid=6512) NBU status: 96, EMM status: No media is available    
unable to allocate new media for backup, storage unit has none available(96)

I have some used tapes on Volume pools but they have enough space to accommodate backup.Kindly help.

NetBackup ver : 7.6.0.1

NetBackup server OS : Windows 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition

NetBackup Client OS : HP-UX 11.31

By default, it isnot permitted to store backups of mixed backup retention into single tape. Please check if all media is aquired by backups of other retention level.
