unable to backup /var/spool/cron

Hi Guys

On linux client 2.4 i am unable to backup /var/spool/cron dir and files inside it. i checked from the most previous backup but could not find any files in path

/var/spool/cron. checked on 3 more linux serveres but same issue. unix admin confirmed files n dir present .

[root@server2 cron]#
[root@server2 cron]#
[root@server2 cron]#
[root@server2 cron]# ls -ltr

-rw-------    1 root     dba          1778 Jun  3  2010 oracle

-rw-------    1 root     users        2815 Sep  6 12:20 opera

I tried i test backup job with selection list as /var/spool/cron/ , job completes with status 0 bytes as 32 but no files backedup .please help if i m missing anything from unix or bakup perspective

Also check for exclude_list.

Enable bpbkar log for troubleshooting.

Check if /var/spool/cron is symbolic link. NetBackup backs up symbolic link as it is, and does not follow it.

Also check for exclude_list.
