Did you mean:

All,

I know total 6-8G FS size we need for the upgrade. my question is :

my software is under /usr/openv FS . what other FS(like: /opt, /tmp) get effected while/after upgrade activity in terms of size and approx. how much?

Thanks

Are  you talking a master/media server or a client?

For a client I've always just needed enough space to push out the new client via sftp (and untar it; so maybe 2gb free space). Otherwise if anything other than /usr/openv is touched it is negligible.

sorry for less information.

i am talking about master/media both.

You did not mention OS on master and/or media servers.

Only Solaris installs in /opt by default. Other Linux/Unix OS's default is /usr/openv.
If nothing was installed in /opt to start with, then no additional space is needed in /opt for the upgrade.

Nobody knows the answer to you your questions off-hand and will need to look at documentation.
If I was to upgrade, I would search these docs:
Release Notes
Upgrade Guide
Installation Guide

(You can find links to documentation in Handy NBU Links in my signature.)

PS:
Why do you want to upgrade to 7.7.2 and not 7.7.3?
Or wait for the next release which should be out within the next couple of weeks?
