/usr/openv/netbackup/db/config directory does not exist

I'm trying to set buffer configurations for 3 media servers. The first 2 work fine but the 3rd media server does not have the config directory in /usr/openv/netbackup/db.

[root@lmnc1nbum02 db]# pwd
/usr/openv/netbackup/db
[root@lmnc1nbum02 db]# ls
error  IDIRSTRUCT  images  jobs  media

I've tried reinstalling Netbackup (6.5.4)  but this doesn't resolve the problem. I would like this to be as simple as me just creating the directory but i susecpt that this probably isn't going to work.

Can i create this directory manually or have I got a more deepseated problem? Any input appreciated.

Thanks
Ray

You can manually create that directory. It isn't included in a fresh install.

Thanks!
Will create now...any ideas why the others got created automatically - i'm pretty sure they were all built exactly the same way (by me).

The other folders you mentioned is always created as far as I know. I don’t know why Symantec have chosen to do it that way :)
