No real leverage to be used with NetBackup unless you went on to backup the disk storage area of the vranger VM backup images and control them via this route.
Sounds like you have two backup environments to contend with or prove that NetBackup is the right solution to use - one does all.
vRanger and NetBackup for VMware are competing backup recovery solutions for VM's.
