some times continuously Vmware backup get fails at that time for that particular need to take backup by creating a separately policy as a flashbackup windows
if any knows please tell me how to take backup for a particular vmware
wither i need add the vm guest machine host name or ip address in the client attribute in the policy

Are you using netbackup 7.5, if yes you need to use the VMware as a policy type but not the flash backup.. In VMware policy type you can browse and select the VM or use quey method Also in policy VMware tab under VM identifier you can use display name of VM host name... Try to trigger manual job is good ieas in some cases however you need to fix the issuees to avoid multiple triggers manually

copy your current policy (which should be of VMWare type) and then remove all the clients from it. Then just add the client you need via manual selection or query. Also remember to blank out the start windows so it doesn't run by itself or deactivate it after running.
