tpconfig is used to confirm drive configuration. vmoprcmd is used to help determine the drive state.?
IS IT RIGHT?

Status is like Device Monitor in the GUI.
It tells you if the drives are UP, DOWN, tape loaded, etc.
Use vmoprcmd from cmd to tell you device status.
You can also use it to UP a DOWN drive for example.
Configuration represents the Devices section of the GUI.
It tells you which devices are configured on a media server - robot, tape drive(s).
You can use the GUI to view, add, change or delete devices.
Use tpconfig to do this from cmd.
All of this explained in NBU Admin Guide I as well as Command manual.
