window 2008 servers event logs not being backed up

We have just noticed that the event logs are not being backed up, we are running Netbackup 7.0.1

The jobs complete with a error code 1 any ideas?

How are you backing up the Windows servers? What is specified in Backup Selection?

Event Logs are backed up as part of Shadow Copy Components.
