Hello,

Am trying to perform windows backup for 2TB NTFS drive.

1st we tried MS-Windows Policy but backup speed was around 2MB/s

Then we tried FlashBackup-Windows Policy but same slow speed approx. 2MB/s (We used a dedicated drive as Shadow Copy Storage)

bpbkar Null test runs slowly also a specific folder show the below results

14:09:59.349 [9744.18528] <2> tar_base::backup_finish: TAR - backup: 76108 files
14:09:59.349 [9744.18528] <2> tar_base::backup_finish: TAR - backup: file data: 647569425 bytes 3 gigabytes
14:09:59.349 [9744.18528] <2> tar_base::backup_finish: TAR - backup: image data: 914026496 bytes 3 gigabytes
14:09:59.349 [9744.18528] <2> tar_base::backup_finish: TAR - backup: elapsed time: 1944 secs 2127187 bps
14:09:59.349 [9744.18528] <2> tar_base::V_vTarMsgW: INF - Total Size:647569425 + 3GB

If i copy/paste this same folder, the copy speed is around 35MB/s which is much faster then the backup speed.

Kindly Advice.

Regards,

Hadi
