Ok, I had a few questions that I cant seem to find any answers on.
#1 Windows 2008 support???
#2 Does the SOB backup only individual files? Can I backup an OS and then restore it somehow?
Thanks

Dimitriz,
1) Not yet, but we are definitely working on it.
2) Currently we do files, not entire OS images. When thinking about OS image support, what platforms are you thinking about? Servers, desktops?

Richard,
I am doing a side job for a local small busines.
We're getting a Dell server with Windows 2008 on it.
What I am trying to do is get them some kind of backup of just that server.
I know that the best solution would probably be Backup Exec, but they dont really have that much $ to justify it. So I was checking into SOB to see if I could fit it into some kind of monthly payment just to avoid up front costs.
If SOB doesnt do OS then there is really not that muchdifferent from other services by other companies that offer the same things... Carbonite comes to mind (G-D forbid anyone actually trying them!, and I mean it! Very horrible experiences)
But for average user they wont distinguish any differences besides paying $50/year (for unlimited) with them or $50/m (for 25GB) with Symantec.
just a thought.
