Daily fail/success statuses for backups ?

I'm trying to put together a report that shows each date in the date range selected and whether or not a backup ran. The backup explorer (monitor->dashboards->backup explorer) comes close but only seems to show days when NetBackup did something (success,partial,fail,etc). If the Master was down during the backup window so the backup never ran then the date doesn't show up in that report, which is bad. 

Any suggestions how to craft such a report ? Pretty icons are less important than completeness. =)

The best report I have found for dealing with which backups did not run, is the Client Risk Analisys set to 1 day and reporting on All backup levels, and Partial Successes.

This will give you a list of clients, which do not have at least one successful backup in the last day, and the last time a full backup was attempted, as well as the last time an incremental backup was attempted.

While this does not give you a specific date range in the past, it does give you a view of what data is at risk.

Unfortunately the auditors want to see a 30 day range for the selected clients. They want to see exactly what happened on each day for the given clients, whether they backed up, failed, etc.

Reports -> Backups -> Status -> Job Status -> Historical -> EDIT -> Custom Wizard (top right) -> wait :) -> X AXIS Properties - Group By: 1 DAY(s) and Time Frame "1 Month(s)" -> Filter -  Backup Job Client (wait for list and select client) -> RUN
