Hi,
We are using netbackup 7.5.0.5. I want to know is there a way to set up alerts for skip backup schedule in opscenter. Recently a full backup job was missed, we checked the policy and schedule setting, evrythings seems to be fine as it only happened for one policy. But need to know that if a schedule misses, then is there a way to generate alert from opscenter for skipped schedule.

Hi Sachin,
Please study the "Hung Job" Alert Configuration, I feel that may suit your requirement.
Hung Job is periodic alert type.
see, Alert Policy ---> Add ---> Hung Job
Symantec OpsCenter Administrator's Guide 7.1, page Number 503.

Hi Sachin,
skipped job is reported in activity monitor ?

i m not sure about skipped jobs apearing in activity monitor as if this was the case then missed backup would have been noticed. I also checked the reports for the full backup schedule job, but their was no full backup job in past one week.
Thats why i m looking for alert configuration from opscenter that may report if a particlar schedule doesnt initiate by itself, as defined in netbackup policy schedule.
