The problem is that in the Monitor View all Summary Panels display the message "The report did not return any data".

Yes, we are still having this issue. Can you recommend if this issue is related to us using Symantec Backup Exec? As if this is the case there is no problem as we are moving to Net Backup.
However if it's a problem with the setup/installation I would need to have this working before the rollout of Net Backup.

Exactly the same problem as the first user has reported.
We have Backup Exec 10d with OpsCenter Agent and server version 7.1 with the latest patch installed.
I also have the same issue. It is a new installation of OpsCenter, we have configured several Backup Exec media servers and only one NetBackup master server. Everything works fine with NetBackup, but not with Backup Exec... in the Monitor View all Summary Panels display the message " The report did not return any data". We have different versions of Backup Exec and the issue applies for all of them.
Has someone resolve this issue?

Yeah we still have the issue unfortunately no fix as yet. We will be moving over to NetBackup soon I hope so as you mention above everything should work find with NetBackup.
Still if anybody finds a fix for this I would be interested in hearing it.
I had the similar issue. On going through Admin guide I found that Monitoring Overview reports are applicable for Netbackup only.
This view is displayed when you select Monitor > Overview (default view). This
view gives an overview of your NetBackup environment. This view contains the
different sections which display specific information about your NetBackup
