NBU 7 OpsCenter, can't get to the web gui at all...use to work

Hi everyone,

I recently had a NBU7 upgrade applied to our Windows NBU backup servers and several clients; and as a part of that OpsCenter was implemented.

It was installed on a Windows VM (win server 2008 R2 Standard, 64 bit).

some basic reporting was set up by the contractor for us...which I still get now.

but, i can't get back to the GUI via the URL...no matter what we try.

I've verified all the services are running, bounced the services a few times, ran the 'ConfigurePorts -status" command and verified

current Http POrt: 80

current Https Port: 443

current shutdown port: 8105

and our network guys can telnet to the system and verified that port 80 is listening.

I've also tried manully typing in the to the address bar with http and https as outlined in the doc.

If anybody can steer me in the right direction, i'd really appreciate it!

Oh ya, i did open a ticket with support...which is currently active i hope, but nobody has gotten back to me for 2 weeks!!

i left 2 messages today alone.

(this is not a problem with Analytics but it was the only option in the drop-down box referencing OpsCenter)

thanks,

In this case it seems the opscenter services are not running. Please check services.msc and if the opscenter services are not up then start it.

just had this but it was because on the opscenter server the Windows Firewall was on

It seems that the thread can be closed now , as case 412-983-368 is also closed .

Reinstalled OCS and restored database .

Symboy, how about you post the fix!

I just isntalled OpsCenter in my VM test enviroment on a new install 2008 R2 server and I also can't get to the www gui. I tried IP and host name, nether worked.

In our OpsCenter URL we specify the port number

https://hostname:8443/opscenter

The ports its using needs to be allowed through firewall obviously.
