Have you try to add FQDN and ip to hostfil and FQDN to bp.conf?
Can you telnet both ways on port 1556?

This error occurs when you try to add a master server for which there is no entry of OpsCenter host in bp.conf file. The other problem could be insufficient trust between OpsCenter and Netbackup in NBAC case.
|
Make sure bp.conf file has proper entry for OpsCenter host. In case of NBAC, proper trust setup should be established. |
