OpsCenter Custom SQL Reports

JonathanM

Good morning all,

I have been struggling putting together a simple custom SQL report that will provide the following pieces of data per server being backed up.  I would like to be able to just have a standard form that I can just drop my server list in and run it as necessary.  I have tried to put a couple together but it inevitably returns 0 replies.

-Backup timeframe

-Beginning and end of job

-Policy

-Success rate

-Backup Type

-How much data was actually backed up

The last piece would be to add the timeframe.  I am familiar with the process of changing the timeframe depending on the timeframe you want run.

Your help would be much appreciated!

Hi,

This seems a lot like what you would get from the jobs per application report. What is pushing you to a custom query?

Thank you for the reply.

Mainly it is being able to add a large number of servers at one time as opposed to picking them out individually from the list.  Any given query could range from 50 to several hundred servers.

So essentially, any method of adding large numbers of servers via copy and paste would be perfectly fine.

Have you tried adding the clients to a View, and then just referencing the View?

Good morning Riaan,

I will look into adding them to a view.

Thank you,
