OpsCenter - Datacollection error for BE 12.5 servers

Message in OpsCentre:

[Nbsl/Agent communication exception]: com.symantec.nbu.nom.scl.common.agent.exception.AgentException: A4012: Error while Job data collection: Return Code: -100 BE Server Connection issue

Tested connection - Can ping, can remotely connect.

This happens to about 12 media servers from +- 80 server. The other servers work fine.

Why are these servers not able to collect.

Have you upgraded JAVA - we seemed to have this issue and was sorted with upgrading JAVA -

In addition to this, also check if no firewall is blocking ports.

thanks for the feedback.

Let me double check the fire wall. If you say - JAVA upgrade - is this on the OC server or the BE media server? What is a recommended level of JAVA?
