This week, Veritas released NSS (NetBackup Self Service) Mobile App v1.2 for iOS and Android devices.

Extend DPaaS (Data Protection as a Service)

The NSS Mobile App already allows you to extend your NetBackup Self Service installation to mobile devices and provides the key functions and information of NetBackup Self Service. The latest v1.2 release has the following enhancements:

  • Support for tablets
  • Support for landscape orientation
  • Support for iOS 14
  • UI tweaks have been made across the app
  • Minor fixes and performance improvements

This enhances the existing capabilities to track the backup health of your workloads, manage protection, take immediate backups, and restore VMs, all while you are on the move.  NSS Mobile Blog Image1.png

 

Use this release of the NSS Mobile App by securely linking to your current NSS instance, using the same user account.
