Admins can delegate certain tasks to the right owners
Simplicity is our number one goal with this release and for that reason, we’ve simplified the work being done by NetBackup Administrators, Security Administrators, and Workload Administrators to provide an end-to-end workload driven user experience.
With NetBackup 8.1.2 we’ve started with what matters the most to you. This is why we started with VMware and cloud workloads.
The new web UI leverages role-based access control (RBAC). This means that, for the first time ever, backup admins can now delegate responsibilities to VMware admins, providing them with instant access to specific workloads.
NetBackup 8.1.2 is simple because you asked for simplicity. It’s a product we built by listening to the most important stakeholders, you, the customers that use this product day in and day out.
