Using Replication Exec & SAN Devices

Is it possible to configure RE V 3.1 to backup to a SAN device.

Currently have a buffalo Teraserver Pro (2tb) that would be used to backup servers over a wan connection.  Currently replicating all data to a server hdd, but getting low on space.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

It's not mentioned as a possibility in the Admin Guide but it may be worth an attempt.

Can you mount up the buffalo as an NFS mount point?  I've used them as targets for BackupExec using UNC paths, but not Replication Exec.

(BTW- they are NAS devices, not SAN devices- small spelling difference but HUGE functional difference)

Any storage as long as it is presented with a drive letter will work.  We have replicated to a variety of SAN storage over the years and it has not been an issue.
