VVR Thresholds

What are the thresholds I can have in VVR?

Can I set a Maximum CPU consuming?
Can I set a Maximum RAM consuming?

Other?

Hi Rodrigo,

If I understand your question correctly, I do not believe that there is a way within VVR to limit CPU usage or memory usage.

The Veritas™ Volume Replicator Planning and Tuning Guide does have a complete list of tunable variables for VVR.

I don't think that there is limit to CUP usage or memory.
But, if your network between both servers, prefer udp than tcp.
With udp, it's VVR who makes the flow control and not TCP who could hang a server with a very bad network.

I have seen it, in a replication between Cameroun and Luxembourg... but wedid it !
