Hi all,
A csutomer delete the LUN on a SAN before delete the log related to the volumes. Now the disks are listed in the console as missing disks. Is there a procedure to delete the missing disks?

Hi EffePi,
The missing disks can be removed from the VEA GUI if there is nothing on them. It is a very simple process as long as SFW shows the missing disks as empty.
However, if SFW thinks there are volumes, subdisks or logs on these missing disks then the process can get a little tricky. Depending on what is on them will depend on how you will clean them off. If they contain a simple volume you can delete it. However, if it contains a mirror plex, then you will need to remove the missing plex but not the remain plex. Logs can be problematic to remove depending on the type of log.
If you are not able to make progress or are concerned that you might delete production data, please contact Symantec Technical Support. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year to assist you as needed.
Thank you,
Wally
