There is 15 minutes between the screen captures, which is significant time in disk import and volume arrival, and the event you've highlighted in the event viewer before any of the screen captures by 20 minutes.
Are you saying that the disk group import fails, but the cluster service group resource for the disk group still goes online? Then after this, not all volumes are accessible?
It may be possible that SFW will log that the disk group import fails, even though all the disks arrive, because the volumes do not arrive. This may be what you are seeing when in screenshot_sfw2.jpg some volumes are stopped.
If you check the windows event logs at the time of the failed import message in the VEA GUI, you might be told why the import failed. Check applicaiton event for vxsvc_vxvm and system event viewer for vxio. You may see things like
- not all disks in the disk group could be reserved
- not all volumes arrived in the timeout period
If you open a support case for this, check out:

or quote TechNote 332631 which may appear published shortly
It would also assist if you can state what happens in the 20mins after the failed import message and the screen captures. Does it fix itself? Does the cluster retry online? Do you refresh VEA GUI and everything is okay? Is everything okay after starting the volumes from VEA GUI?
