SCOM 2012

Hi ,

I am looking for a Storage Foundation for Windows (SFW) Management Pack for SCOM 2012 for some time and found none so far.

Is there a possibility that Symantec will provide this in the near future?

Hi Ivo,

Unfortunately, there are no firm plans for creating a Storage Foundation for Windows Management Pack for SCOM 2012 at the current time.

I think the best suggestion I can give you is to submit an idea so that Product Management can prioritise this.

Hi Ivo,

The latest packs for 2012 can be found in the 6.0.2(2012) installation media. They have not been updated on the technote. Symantec is working on getting those updated.

6.0.2 \dvd1\MOMPacks\ (the DVD1\MomPacks folder for 6.0.2 release has the latest MOmPacks)

The VCS management packs are compatible with the following product versions:

■ Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 SP1

■ Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2

■ Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2012 or later

■ Storage Foundation and HA 5.1 for Windows or later

■ Veritas Cluster Server 5.1 for Windows or later
