Dear Team,
As VVR and VCS is a part of Storage foundation there are several applications/solutions for which you need to configure VCS and VVR.
So I'm a bit confused the agents that are available for Storage Foundation are for VSC only or there are agents for VVR also.
Solved! Go to Solution.

VCS works at Application level.
An application needs to be started, monitored, stopped. This is what the VCS agent does.
VVR works way below the Application, even below the filesystem and mount point. It works at Volume level and replicates at block level. No agent is needed as it has no knowledge of the Application that lives above the filesystem.
Hope this helps!
