Uninstallation of Storage Foundation for Windows

Bretai2k
Not applicable
I was hoping someone could help me with an issue I am having.  We currently deploy images to bare metal machines before placing them into production.  We recently added a new hardware type that we do not plan having Storage Foundation loaded onto.  My problem is that the image I have been handed DOES have Storage Foundation on it.  I have been given the task to find a way to remove Storage Foundation using command line commands AFTER the image has been deployed.  I've been able to gather some information by searching the web, but so far these commands have proven to be less than totally hands off.  I figured it would be best to come to the experts.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

TIA

HI Bretai2k,

Are you using the /s switch with your uninstall command?  The /s switch does the uninstall in silent mode.  You can find more information on this in the Installation and Upgrade Guide.  I'm looking at the 5.1 version of this guide and the information is on page 59 - 61.

Thanks,
Wally
