Environment

Primary Site = 2 nodes

DR Site = 1 node

OS = Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.3 (Tikanga)

Replication connectivity = on Layer-II

SFHA version = 5.1 (seems its 5.1)

Agenda

Moving Primary Site to a New Site. While relocation of site the application will be running from DR Site

Query

Our client have a SF 5.1 version installed at primary site and its being replicate with same version at DR site. I want to add another node at DR site. But when I am trying to download (via File Connect) , I am receiving alteal version 6.0 in the download list.

- Is it possible that we can replicate the data from 6.0 (DR site) to Primary site with a version SF 5.1 ? (read the below note for clear understanding)

- I assume that 6.0 Diskgroup has a upper version which cannot replicate backword from 6.0 to 5.1 (if required to replicate)

(Please note: We are relocating our client Primary Site. This required atleast 16-20 hours downtime. We just want to make sure that the data should be redundant in case of any mishap. When we will be able to move Primary Site nodes to new location , we will resume the replication between DR Site to New Site with old nodes)
