I've just tried to install Veritas Storage Foundation on RHEL 3 Update 4 and it failed. I quit the installation program and ran
vxlicinst manually. When prompted for a key, I gave the key I have just registered for on the Veritas site, and got the following message:
vxlicinst ERROR V-21-1-65 Invalid Operating System. Input license key is not valid for this Operating System
I still have the Veritas key page open in a different tab, and it says t hat I have downloaded
VERITAS Storage Foundation 4.0 on Red Hat Linux. That looks correct to me.
Can anyone advise me what I'm doing wrong and how to get this working ?
