Hi,
My customer is using Oracle 92050 32 bit and gets errors whens using RMAN to backup to disk.
He gets error ONLY when
a) using ODM AND
b) Target file size is > 10 GB AND
c) Rman channel size is unlimited
File system version is 3.5 MP3
ODM version is 3.5 (No patch)
Here is the error:
ORA-19502: write error on file "/u5100/oradata/FF05DP/odm_testfile",
blockno
819201 (blocksize=8192)
ORA-17510: Attempt to do i/o beyond file size
Additional information: 819329
I tried to reproduce the error is Oracle 92050 64 bit but in vain.
In the process of setting up 32 bit to reproduce the error.
Question:
Is there any known issues in ODM is causing this?
